March 19th 2010 - As of late, things have improved considerably! The snow is gone and the phone has again started ringing. After a market wide meager sales year in 2009, we are beginning to see a steady incline in sales. Since January 1st, we alone have recorded 12 closed sales with a number of pending sales set to close in the near future. The listings have began to trickle in with the advent of the early Spring like weather. Also, the Real Estate Guide of Central Minnesota publication set to hit news stands the first week of April which will truly kick off the beginning of our year. With the banks again beginning to lend and the interest rates remaining low, we are looking forward to a much improved market in 2010! April 14th 2010 - Well, things have remained steady the past few weeks with a few more Pending Properties out there on the site. The ice is now out on all lakes in the area and the docks have started to go in. If you are planning on looking at cabins, now is the time to do it. There is a huge selection out there for all budgets and some pretty good deals right now. Also, you may want to get in before Memorial weekend and it is fast approaching. June 1st 2010 - We survived the busy weekend and were blessed with beautiful weather! Most people were out on the water all day and there were a lot of people disguised as lobsters Saturday night. The market has tapered off a bit this last month but now that school is wrapping up for the summer, we should start to notice a rise in activity in the local market. There are approx. 295 properties listed in the McGregor Area market so there is plenty to choose from out there. Check back often as new listings are being added daily and there are really some deals out there....
